Twinsift Support

Twinsift is an iPhone app that groups similar photos and bursts, suggests the one to keep, and helps you delete the rest.

About the app

If you use iCloud Photos, deleted items are also deleted from your other devices. Photos in an iCloud Shared Photo Library are also deleted for the other participants. The app can't tell which photos are in a Shared Library.

Frequently asked questions

I deleted a photo by mistake. Can I get it back?

Yes, within 30 days. Items you delete with Twinsift go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and stay there for 30 days.

  1. Open the Photos app and go to Recently Deleted (under Utilities). You may be asked for Face ID or your passcode.
  2. Select the items you want back and recover them.

Items that you also deleted from Recently Deleted, or that were deleted more than 30 days ago, can't be recovered from the Photos app.

I deleted photos, but my free storage didn't go up.

Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Space is freed after you delete them there, or after 30 days. Sizes shown in the app are estimates.

How do I cancel my subscription?

  1. On your iPhone, open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then tap Twinsift.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

You can also open the same screen from Settings (gear icon) > Manage Subscription in Twinsift. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone or after reinstalling?

Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy Premium. Then open Twinsift and tap Restore Purchases on the purchase screen or in Settings (gear icon).

How do I change Twinsift's access to my photos?

Open iPhone Settings > Apps > Twinsift > Photos (on iOS 17: Settings > Twinsift > Photos) and choose an option.

Changing access does not delete any photos.

Why aren't some photos checked or grouped?
